I was brought up in a Christian family, born to parents who were Presbyterians.

Since childhood I have been a Roman Catholic, faithful due to the overwhelming catholic influence in the schools I attended. However, since coming to Leeds nearly two years ago and joining the Kenyan Fellowship, I have discovered a new relationship with Jesus Christ and it is my desire to delve deeper and to understand more of what it really means to be a Christian. To this end I have taken deliberate steps to forge this relationship.

I have taken into account my position as a sinner and have come to believe in the forgiveness and salvation that only comes from knowing, accepting and believing in Jesus Christ. I believe that my desire to be baptized by full immersion and the subsequent membership of Bridge Street Church will not only make me stronger but are steps God wants me to take.
