As well as in reaching to our own congregation we also outreach into various community projects in and around Leeds.
Having a large congregation gives us the privilege to meet the needs of a large number of people living in Leeds. In addition to this care, we also outreach into various different communities around Leeds across different age groups.
PRE-SCHOOL SESSION 0-4 years and their parents/carers
Known to us as SPLASHTIME, our preschool session is already well used. We have upwards of forty parents/carers and children visiting us each session.
Two sessions are held per week during term time with an additional afternoon one starting in March.
Our aim at SPLASHTIME is to provide a fun, friendly and stimulating environment for all who attend. Parents/carers are responsible for their children at all times and are encouraged to play with them throughout the session.
It is a place to meet and make friends, chat over coffee and find great support!
We have two large rooms where we offer very good Early Years provision. There are a number of vehicles of learning including water and sand play, role play for imaginative development as well a range of activities to promote physical, spiritual and creative development.
All families from the church and community are very welcome, so come and see us soon!
Teen Challenge
Teen Challenge in Leeds reaches out to people of all ages who need help. Much of the work is focussed upon those who are homeless in the city of Leeds.
Originally using a bus, Teen Challenge have recently moved into their own building where they have large numbers of people coming every week.
Kidz Klub Leeds
Kidz Klub Leeds is for children aged 5 to 11 in Leeds.
The Saturday Klub is attended by 300 to 450 children and the Beeston Satellite Klub by 80 to 150 children. We also visit over 1300 children in their homes every week and do Assembly Work in 26 Primary Schools.
The children come from all over inner city Leeds: from Burmantofts, Beeston, Burley, Gipton, Halton Moor, Harehills, Lincoln Green, Osmondthorpe and Woodhouse.
Kidz Klub Leeds is supported by a partnership of Churches from across Leeds.
"We aim to provide and promote the very highest standard of children's work, putting young people first in everything we do."
Silver Lining
Our Silver lining group meets the needs of the over 55s. We provide a meal and a place of friendship on Thursday lunchtime throughout the year.
The meal is a two course home cooked meal for £1.50 includes tea/coffee and biscuits. (We are currently revising the Silver Lining programme, please contact the office for further details).
